As I was pulling out of my garage to meet up with this family for our session, dad calls me on my cell phone and says, “It’s super foggy over here! Are you sure you want to still meet?” Yes, I replied. No rain and awesome fog?! I’ll take it!!! It was a cold morning in Seattle, but the fog made for some great environmental shots. It was great to get this family in front of my lens again. The Chens are one of the very first families I shot when I was starting out as a photographer, and their continued support means the world to me. It was fun to see how the kids have grown, and to be perfectly honest, this session felt so luxurious to me since the kids are a bit older than my usual set and could totally take direction!!!! If you’re lucky enough to get a Christmas card from this family, don’t be surprised if you see one or more of these images!
