Dear Bennett,
Oh, my sweet buddy. You are such a JOY to have in our family! You have the sweetest, most calm, tender-hearted personality. Nothing really bothers you except when one of your sisters steals a toy or book, or when you’re hungry. You’re ruled by that big tummy of yours. I can tell when you’re mad, because you’ll stand in one spot and stomp your two feet back and forth. It’s pretty darn cute. But 95% of the time you are just one jolly fellow. You have THE best belly laugh I have ever heard in my entire life. I want to bottle it up and keep it with me forever.
And boy, are you affectionate. You love to run into my arms and give me the biggest hugs. You should try to share some snuggles with Baba, instead of running away from him!!
I love all of our reading time and bedtime snuggles. Your favorite books are “Listen Listen” and “Yummy Yucky”, but you like most books in general. You will carry them over to me, turn around, then reverse your little behind as you plop your bottom into my lap. It’s the cutest thing, and I never want to forget that.
When we’re driving in the car and you want a snack from Avery, you’ll make a sound and then put your little paw out to wait for your snack. I can’t see your face since you’re still rear-facing, but that little paw peeking out over the side of your carseat is a funny & familiar sight.
I think these photos capture your personality perfectly. You’re so happy and you approach life with exuberance. I hope that never changes about you. I love the last photo of you chasing Avery at the beach. Such a joyful expression on your face that is totally YOU!
I love you so very much!
