Yi Li Photography is pleased to offer parents a more custom, candid approach to school portraits. Say goodbye to the cheesy poses and fake smiles. I aim to capture authentic expressions of your child, be it happy, pensive, inquisitive, silly, or shy that show off their unique personality. I won’t ask them to say “cheese” and I don’t believe in forcing a smile. I take close-up portraits including head & shoulders only against a solid black background.

How many images are provided?  

I’ll take multiple frames of each child, and aim to present the best 3-5 images in both color and black & white. I’ll also take sibling photos for siblings at the center.

How much does it cost?  

Parents can choose from 4 different print packages all priced at $42, and a la carte items begin at $17. Digital collections begin at $65. I also offer custom studio products such as gallery wrapped canvases and mounted wall art enlargements ready for framing. These portraits make wonderful gifts for grandparents! 

How long does the whole process take?

We will shoot school pictures on two days, then proofs will be ready for online viewing approximately 3 weeks later. Once proofs are released to be viewed online, orders are due within 1 week. Once all orders are placed, products will arrive approximately 2-4 weeks later and be delivered to the school.

How are ordering and payment handled?

Viewing, ordering, and payment all take place via my secure website. Payment is done easily with any major credit card.
