I’m taking some creative latitude with this week’s theme of “simplicity”. I had imagined a really simple photo with a lot of negative space, but that just didn’t happen this week. What happened was a splendidly gorgeous, sunny winter day in Seattle, and I really wanted to share this photo this week. It sort of fits the theme, in that it is “simply” and very minimally post-processed. Yes, the light was really that beautiful. The only edits I made were to bump up the clarity and sharpening just a touch. So, “simplicity” of post-processing, which I really love. I’d much rather be behind the camera taking photos than trapped behind my computer editing them. When they come out of the camera looking like this, it’s pure magic.
Stay tuned for Week 6’s theme: Emotion. Have a great week and Happy February! I can’t believe January is gone already.
