The blog has been pretty quiet for the last few months. The main reason is that I’ve been busy gestating twins (!!!), so my photography business has been temporarily put somewhat on the back burner. Initially I was very sick with nausea, and then the belly quickly got too big to effectively chase after toddlers with my camera! I’m nearing the home stretch, and awaiting their arrival either this month or next month. My doctor recently put me on modified bedrest due to preterm contractions, but this week we reached a major milestone – 34 weeks!
I will be on maternity leave through the winter, then begin accepting bookings for sessions in the spring. Please continue to contact me if you would like to be put on my list for a Spring post-maternity-leave session. In the mean time, I’ve been referring clients to some of my talented colleagues in the area, and I’m happy to do the same for you.
In other news, the original Yi Li (my first-born daughter) is right around the corner from turning 3 years old. As we anticipate adding 2 more kiddos to our household, we’ve been savoring the numbered days of her as an only child. She has the sweetest personality these days, and I can’t believe how lucky I am to be her mama.
