Welcoming Baby J | Birth day photos

A few months ago I had the opportunity to photograph the birth of my friend’s second child.  Still pregnant with my twins at the time, I wasn’t sure I’d make it to her birth, or have the energy needed to shoot it.  I mean, mama’s got to sleep!  Thankfully, her baby cooperated and came in the early evening before my bedtime!  While I’m not a birth photographer and the littles in my life don’t allow me to pursue this genre right now, I will say that it was such a memorable day for me.  As a photographer, it was technically challenging and magical and inspiring all at the same time.  As a friend and mother, it was so special for me to be able to witness this birth and capture these images for my friend.
